What is the Center for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics

ASU’s Center for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics (CDF) brings together leading faculty
in engineering, social sciences, law and business to:

  • conduct sponsored research focused on identity management, privacy issues, malware attribution, secure mobile devices, predictive analytics/adversarial dynamics and digital forensics
  • create custom education, internship and training platforms
  • support entrepreneurial activities in partnership with ASU SkySong

 

Our Mission

Add value to the university, community, and society through innovative educational programs, research, and development in the areas of cybersecurity and digital forensics research. 

 

Objectives

  • to be one of the leading academic institutions for research in cybersecurity and digital forensics research
  • to collaborate with other universities, government agencies and industrial organizations to advance the state of cybersecurity and digital forensics research 
  • to provide innovative education and training programs in cybersecurity and digital forensics research 
  • to promote invention, commercialization, and technology transfer activities in cybersecurity and digital forensics research
