Experts from Germany and Arizona will discuss Germany’s energy transition (Energiewende) and where Arizona stands on the path to joining Germany as a leader in this global movement. We will look at the economic impacts of renewable energy and energy efficiency, especially on a local scale, i.e., how sustainable-energy policies foster local job creation, economic activity, and tax revenue while reducing greenhouse-gas emissions and thus mitigating global climate change.
